Others Airlines


Federal also represented other airlines that are no longer in operation, i.e. Varig Brazilian Airlines, Trans World Airlines, Sabena and Aero Peru. We also served as ground handling agent, responsible for flight operation at the airport, for Sobelair.

Trans World Airlines

Federal began its representation for Trans World Airlines (TWA) in Thailand in 1982. From the start, the company was responsible for passenger sales for Thailand and later appointed to cover sales in Vietnam. In 2002, the GSA management for TWA was transferred to American Airlines on takeover.

Varig Brazilian Airlines

Federal had represented Varig as on-line airlines in 1992 until it became off-line in 1999. We continued to work closely for airlines even after it was integrated with GOL. Nevertheless, all Asia Pacific GSA was ceased in 2008.

Sabena

Sabena appointed Federal as GSA in Thailand in 1994 representing the airline for passenger and cargo sales with outstanding performances up to year 2002 when Sabena merged with Swissair, the GSA management in Thailand was then transferred to Swissair.

Valuair

Valuair appointed Federal as GSA in Thailand in 2004. Federal was responsible for marketing and after sales, inclusive of reservation & ticketing. We were also involved in setting up the local operation.

Aer Lingus

Aer Lingus launched its Asian presence through flight to DXB in early 2006. Sales expansion to cover BKK was part of airlines’ presence in Asia. But airlines later suspended operation due to commercial reason.
